May 2008 saw CyTrack invited to an honoured section in Austrades Export Alley as a Consensus Awards winner.  The show was a great success with many of our clients and partners visiting us on the stand as well as many new potential business opportunities being revealed.

APR 08 - CyTrack Launch Asia Office in May 08

I am most excited to update our Asia partners with our imminent plans to open our Asia Support hub office to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia in May 2008 and our specially formed team for Asia Support and Business Development.

Farley has been appointed as Director Technical Services South Asia.  Farley has been employed with CyTrack since 2005 as a key technical support and services member of the team.  Farley will be relocating to Jakarta and will be responsible for management of Business Development and our Technical Services team for SE Asia with the following services provided locally for our Asian partners:

FEB 08 - CyTrack Launch in Thailand with LG-Nortel Thailand

CyTrack announces our latest International Partner LNSC (LG-Nortel Thailand) based in Bangkok.  "We are very excited about the market in Thailand and the opportunities we see for our products and solutions integrated with the LG-Nortel platform in the Kingdom" says Nick Milan Managing Director of CyTrack.

CyTrack exhibited live at the Bangkok International ICT Expo  - Nov 16- 20 - Challenger Halls 2-3, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, Thailand. 

Oct 07 - CyTrack Sponsor at LG-Nortel Global Conference Thailand

CyTrack was a invited sponsor and presenter at the Oct 07 LG-Nortel Global Distributor Conference, with the theme of 'Share the Spirit' held at Koh Samui Thailand.  The event was an outstanding success with over 20 countries represented.  LG-Nortel's Distributor for Australia, Aria Communications took the prize of distributor of the year. 

Oct 07 - CyTrack Exhibiting at Microsoft Convergence 2007 - Copenhagen

Copenhagen 23–25 October 2007 was the site for Microsoft Convergence 2007 . CyTrack were present as a sponsor and exhibitor.  We were very excited about the huge amount of interest in our solutions for Microsoft integration and at the event launched our new applications for integration with 'Titan' the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Aug 07 CyDesk™ has received Windows Vista Certification.  "We have been very pleased with the process which has included a complete update of all our development environment to the latest Visual Team Studios 2005" said Mark Hammans R&D Manager.

MAR 07 - CyTrack wins Consensus ANZ Software Awards 2007 !

CyTrack announced winner of Consensus Awards 2007 the only independently judged Awards for Australia and New Zealand
- sponsored by Microsoft and IBM !

The Consensus Software Awards are the only independently judged Awards for Australian and New Zealand designed and developed software. Each year Consensus invite some of Australia and New Zealand's most respected industry professionals to join our judging panels. By applying the pre-defined judging criteria the panels award recommendations each year based on merit where the best rise to the top. The Awards are recognised and endorsed by government and leading industry bodies. Winners and finalists benefit from industry and general media exposure throughout the competition and are invited to use the 'Endorsed by Consensus' certification scheme to further promote the quality of the product or service.

CyTrack Releasing CyDesk™.NET in Q3 2005

1. Microsoft sees this strategy as the future. CEO Steve Balmer has said that they are “betting the company” on it. As such, Microsoft will devote most of its future research and innovation to it. While the existing technologies work now, they will be increasingly cut off from future advances as Microsoft concentrates on the new platform.

2. As well as providing a pathway to the future, hitching ourselves to .NET also has more immediate benefits.

• Reliability – .NET handles many of the issues that have traditionally added instability to software. For example, however well a program is written it can still lose memory and Windows resources, and with existing technology it is impossible to reclaim them. This can cause the process to run progressively slower as it juggles ever fewer resources. .NET gets round this by directly managing these resources, releasing them automatically when required.
• Portability – .NET applications run in their own virtual machine (the “.NET Framework”), isolating those applications from the underlying operating system. This eliminates the problems associated with upgrading to new versions of Windows, or other changes to the PC environment, such as installing new 3rd party software. It will also ease transition of applications from desktop PCs onto other devices, such as personal digital assistants (PDAs) and mobile phones. Any device-specific differences will be confined to the version of .NET running on that device, minimising or removing the need to specialise an application for a particular host.
• Performance – Existing software is pre-compiled into an immutable executable before being deployed. This means that the entire source must be compiled and loaded into memory at run-time, even those parts of the application that will never be used. The .NET Framework compiles at run-time, using “just-in-time” compiling. Code that is not used will never be activated. This minimalist approach improves performance by reducing the resources needed by an application, and in doing so, leaves more for other processes.
• Simplified deployment – Different versions of .NET-based software can run simultaneously on the same machine. Each application is ‘signed’ with the version of .NET with which it was built. This prevents the problems associated with synchronising applications with their attendant DLLs (“DLL hell”). Applications can even be upgraded while running. Less use is made of the Windows Registry when installing .NET software.
• Security – The .NET Framework can collect evidence about the origin and author of an application. The .NET Framework run-time environment can then combine that evidence with administrator-set or default security policies to make fine-grained decisions about whether to run that application or enable it to access a particular resource. It can even "negotiate" with the application, for example, denying it the permission to write to a protected directory and enabling the application to choose whether it will run, given that it has been denied that permission.

CyTrack Partner Technical Training Programs
 

All our products are supported and we have developed each course with two Phases:

• Phase 1 - Usually 1-2 hours max per product suite and designed for installation technicians who will be trained to a level to attend site and install CyTrack Products, test that the PABX integration and/or initial installation is complete and leave the installation ready for configuration and training by a Phase 2 Approved Specialist.
  
• Phase 2 - Usually 4 hours + per product suite and will train partner installation specialists in all features of CyTrack Product Ranges for full configuration and administrational skills including train the trainer levels for product hand over to the client.
• Phase 3 - 1-2 Hours focussing on Troubleshooting and First Level Support details.
